Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are currently looking for a passionate Design Verification Engineer to join our R&D Lithium team based in Xanthi, Greece. The role will revolve around the testing and certification of lithium batteries for industrial and military applications with mainly involvement in the testing for development and certification of the batteries acc.to several standards (IEC, UL, SAE etc).


Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:

  • Compiles work instructions for the Test Technicians and ensures work package is in place: inc. instruction, information, parts
  • Provides direction to Test Technicians in troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Acts as communication link between customers and Test Technicians: interprets customer’s requirement and data output
  • Produces data and assumptions’ list, updates risks, produces data management plan, completes Review-Learn-Improve (RLI) and test reports
  • Completes rig BoM, defines calibration level
  • Delivers test commodity designs in order to support project targets and proves chosen technologies
  • Produces test specifications, detailing the SuT design, all hard and soft interfaces, test cycle requirements and any other information required to adequately set-up and control the test
  • Develops new and maintains old processes to standardise the delivery of commodities and reduce late change
  • Investigates best ways of working to make full use of equipment capability
  • Acts in line with Scheduled Performance targets and commitments and communicates effectively to ensure timely delivery of data
  • Responsible for COSHH and Risk Assessments
  • Undertakes any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years proven working experience in test engineering role
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, MSc relevant to energy systems will be considered as an asset
  • Verbal and written fluency in English and Greek
  • Familiarity with schematics and wiring
  • Excellent Computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
