Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking for Product Managers for our Lithium & Lead Acid Product Management teams. The role will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle from the identification of product optimization/development opportunities to the execution in support of established product strategy & vision, and will work closely with Sunlight’s R&D teams and other key stakeholders both internal and external.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Monitors the competition, market and technological trends through personal research and interactions with Sales Division, customer visits and exhibitions to identify opportunities for product optimization/development
  • Creates proposals on new product developments/enhancements, including pricing analysis and preparation of respective presentations so as to highlight product benefits, provide explanations and present business trends for the support of the management decisions
  • Coordinates new product development projects, liaising with Manager of Product Management if complex issues arise and providing training sessions to the Sales team and customers on product specifications and benefits
  • Examines aspects of new suppliers regarding items, costs and added value to the products in cooperation with the Procurement Department
  • Liaises with the factory to proceed with quality checks for the improvement of product performance and customer delivery services
  • Monitors the data provided by the Pre-Sales Engineer to the Sales department for Requests for Quotation (RFQs), tenders, requests and custom/special demands
  • Supports Marketing & Communications Division on new promotional material development upon request

Job requirements

  • BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of working experience in pre-sales or product management experience in a company with manufacturing facilities
  • Experience in adaptive approach to product planning and implementation
  • Experience in cross-functional project delivery
  • Proficient in product/project management tools
  • Fluency in Greek & English (both verbal & written) is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  • Excellent communication and negation skills with the ability to build trustworthy relationships
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and problem resolving mentality
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
