Due to continuous growth and expansion, Sunlight Group offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Procurement Administrator to join our Lithium Purchasing Department team at Sunlight’s Athens premises.

The Procurement Administrator will assist in daily operations of Purchasing Department and will be responsible for inputting order data, communicating with vendors, tracking shipments, and identifying cost savings and improvements to the process. The successful candidate must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.


Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Process purchase orders from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely fulfillment
  • Maintain and update the procurement database, including vendor information, purchase order records, and contract details
  • Perform supplier evaluations, conducting performance reviews, and implementing corrective actions when necessary
  • Handle invoice discrepancies, working closely with the finance department to resolve billing issues and ensure proper payment
  • Implement procurement policies and procedures to streamline operations and adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential suppliers, and innovative products or services for potential procurement opportunities
  • Support pilot plant materials requirements
  • Assist to day-to-day cooperation

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounts Payable, or the equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a relevant role
  • Fluency in Greek & English (both verbal & written) is a must
  • Working knowledge of ERP/SAP will be considered a plus
  • Excellent communication with the ability to build trustworthy relationships
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and problem resolving mentality
  • Multi- tasking, team spirit work and adaptability
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
