Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are looking to hire a Logistics Manager to join our Warehouse team. The role is responsible for ensuring thorough process planning relevant to storage and distribution and for overseeing the compliance with legislation, company’s policies, quality standards, safety and environmental regulations. The position is based in Xanthi and reports directly to the Senior Logistics Manager.


Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develops the 3-year strategic plan for the logistics discipline linked to company’s business plans & priorities
  • Determines the storage and distribution strategies in order to facilitate the implementation of service level agreements and to achieve services excellence and cost efficiency
  • Conducts the planning for warehouses and distribution centers in order to achieve efficiency in both operations and capacity
  • Identifies and eliminates no value-added processes in order to reduce losses and foster operational excellence across manufacturing and distribution areas
  • Redesigns and optimizes transportation models in terms of service excellence and cost and performs reporting and data analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
  • Performs operational audits continuously to ensure compliance of procedures according to local legislation, safety regulations, quality standards and environment protection

Job requirements

  • BSc in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Transportation, or Engineering
  • 8+ years of working experience in Logistics, Warehouse, or Transportation Operations
  • Proven experience of using ERP (preferably SAP)
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework
  • Knowledge of process design
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Safety & Quality mindedness
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary team
  • Approachable and team oriented, capable to build strong relationships with various stakeholders in a positive work environment
