We are currently looking for an ingenious IT Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team. As an IT Helpdesk Technician, you will have the opportunity of being responsible for providing technical assistance and support to internal users within the organization & subsidiaries. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network client related issues, as well as installing and configuring computer systems, peripherals, and software applications. Last but not least, you will play a key role in maintaining and managing client IT infrastructure.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, in person or remotely, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, and other peripherals
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems and applications
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates as necessary to ensure security and functionality
  • Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to implement and maintain IT solutions and infrastructure projects
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as antivirus updates, and system optimizations
  • Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and software
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and reference purposes
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding IT security, data privacy, and compliance

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in similar positions
  • Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting in computer hardware, software, network, and peripherals
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows client OS and related applications
  • Proficiency in new computer deployment and user onboarding
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with Manage Engine Helpdesk Ticketing System would be considered as a plus
  • Fluency in English
