We are currently looking for an ingenious Battery Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer for our Research Department, which is performing advanced research on energy storage technologies. The scope of this position is performing 3D Electromagnetic simulations for specific components for different type of battery products and investigate different optimization strategies. The position offers a taste of Electrical Design, System Engineering and LIB Storage Technologies.


Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Familiarizing with battery technology
  • Familiarizing with the simulation process and workflow
  • Electromagnetic simulation of battery components
  • Correlation of simulation with measurements
  • Investigate optimization strategies
  • Project related support (writing deliverables etc.)
  • Travel: 1/2 times per year

Job requirements

  • Strong background in electromagnetism
  • Hands-on approach & experience with experimental data analysis
  • Excellent English, both in speaking and writing
  • Very good communication skills
  • You show open-mindedness (innovation / creativity), autonomy, method, rigor, and you like teamwork
