Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire an Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Maintenance team.  The Automation Engineer is behind the automated machines and is responsible for designing, programming, simulating and controlling automated processes intended to complete specific tasks (eg robots used in industry). The Automation Engineer works with automation systems such as the following: Step 7, WinCC, Siemens software TIA PORTAL, Eplan P8, SCL, PLC, Simatic S5 / S7, SCADA and is responsible for providing detailed documentation, including design specifications allow the production of products.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Participation in resolving issues related to meeting the company's needs in automation
• PLC management knowledge
• Basic knowledge of automation
• Ability to analyze production processes in different production lines
• Technical support of electrical - mechanical equipment
• Reduction of equipment downtime due to faults
• Preventive maintenance
• Monitoring of stock spare parts
  

• Degree from AEI / ATEI of Electrical Engineering / Automation / Electronics
• Corresponding proven experience of at least 5 years in automation projects in industry
• Ability to stick to schedules and perform under pressure
• Willingness for continuous improvement
• Experience in automation systems with Siemens PLC, SCADA / HMI, industrial networks
• Knowledge in Step 7, WinCC, software of Siemens TIA PORTAL, Eplan P8, SCL, PLC, Simatic S5 / S7, SCADA will be considered additional qualification
• Good knowledge of electrical design
• Fluency in Greek & English (both verbal & written) is a must
• Very good use of PC
• Teamwork and organizational skills

Desired skills:

• Programming of robotic arms
• Experience in machine safety
